What Makes Ledger Live Essential

Ledger Live is your asset manager for Ledger hardware wallets. It keeps your portfolio synchronized, allows secure app installations, validates every address on your device, and provides a clean interface for safely sending or receiving cryptocurrency.

Getting Started

1. Download Ledger Live

Visit ledger.com/start and choose the version that matches your operating system.

2. Install the Application

After opening the installer, follow the guided steps. Choose your Ledger device model and continue to setup.

3. Connect Your Ledger Hardware Wallet

Use the included USB cable. Ledger Live will automatically detect the device and verify authenticity.

4. Install Coin Apps

Within the Manager tab, choose the assets you plan to use. Each installed app enables support for that blockchain.

5. Add Accounts

Accounts let Ledger Live display transaction history and balances for assets stored on your hardware wallet.
